Getting started
Motivate Mountain is built around a few intentional minutes each day. You can start with available free features, then add an account when you want community or cloud-related services.
Create an account or continue
You can explore the daily climb and many personal features without signing in. Create an account when you want community features, cloud-related account services, or to restore Founder access tied to a Motivate Mountain account. Sign in with Apple if you prefer to use your Apple identity.
How the daily climb works
- Open Motivate Mountain.
- Read five motivational quotes or affirmations.
- Complete your daily check-in.
That check-in counts as one more day of climbing. Keep it going to maintain a streak and move toward the next summit.
Days, streak, level, and mountains
- Days to summit shows how far you are through the current mountain.
- Streak counts consecutive days you completed a climb.
- Level reflects experience earned through consistent practice.
- Mountain count tracks where you are across the 24-peak journey.
Finding your way around
- Quotes — daily motivational quotes for your climb.
- Affirmations — category-based affirmations in an immersive setting.
- Journey — the visual route across 24 mountains.
- Wellness — gratitude, mood, and related reflection tools.
- Community — optional friends and social features (sign-in required).
- Profile — stats, saved inspiration, badges, and personal progress.
- Settings — account, restore, backup, notifications, and deletion.
Community and safety
Community features are account-based. Treat other climbers with respect. If someone is abusive or unsafe, use in-app reporting tools and contact support with the topic “Community or safety.”
Notifications
Motivate Mountain can send reminder notifications to help you keep a streak. You can allow or deny notifications in iOS Settings, and adjust reminder preferences in the app’s Settings. Turning notifications off does not delete your account or cancel a subscription.
Troubleshooting
- If today’s climb does not update, force-close the app and reopen it, then complete the five items and check in again.
- If you recently changed phones, see account, restore, and backup.
- If Mountain Pro is missing, see purchases and restoration.
