Question 1

What is Motivate Mountain?

Accepted Answer

Motivate Mountain is a gamified self-improvement app for iPhone and iPad. A few minutes each day — reading five motivational quotes or affirmations and completing a check-in — become a visible climb across 24 real-world mountains. The app also includes affirmations, gratitude journaling, mood tracking, goals, achievements, profiles, and optional community features.

Question 2

How does a daily climb work?

Accepted Answer

Each day, read five quotes or affirmations, then complete your daily check-in. That check-in counts as one more day of climbing, helps maintain your streak, and moves you toward the next summit.

Question 3

How many mountains can I climb?

Accepted Answer

Motivate Mountain includes a journey across 24 iconic peaks. Mountain Pro unlocks the complete 24-mountain journey.

Question 4

Can I use the app for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can start a daily climb and use available free features without paying. Mountain Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the complete 24-mountain journey and additional premium features.

Question 5

What does Mountain Pro include?

Accepted Answer

Mountain Pro unlocks the complete 24-mountain journey and additional premium features. It is offered as a Monthly or Annual auto-renewing subscription billed through the App Store. See the current price in the App Store, because prices can vary by region.

Question 6

How do I restore Mountain Pro?

Accepted Answer

Sign into the same Motivate Mountain account, confirm the device is using the Apple Account that originally purchased the subscription, open Settings, and tap Restore Mountain Pro or Restore Purchases. Allow a short time for Apple to verify the receipt.

Question 7

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Motivate Mountain cannot cancel an Apple subscription for you. Apple’s guide is at https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428

Question 8

How does Founder access restore?

Accepted Answer

Founder access is promotional account access, not an App Store purchase. It restores after you sign into the same Motivate Mountain account. Restoring Apple purchases is not the recovery path for Founder access.

Question 9

How do I move my progress to a new phone?

Accepted Answer

Sign in with the exact same account on the new device. Sign in with Apple users should use the same Apple identity. If automatic restore does not bring everything over, export a backup on the old phone and import it on the new phone. Save exported backups outside the app, such as in iCloud Drive or Files.

Question 10

How do backup export and import work?

Accepted Answer

Export Backup saves a JSON backup through the iOS share sheet. Import Backup restores supported portable personal progress. Device identity and consumable Streak Shield inventory are not transferred in portable backups. Keep a copy of exported files somewhere outside the app.

Question 11

Does the app work offline?

Accepted Answer

Personal climbing, quotes, affirmations, and on-device progress can be used without a network connection. Sign-in, community features, purchase restoration, and some backup or account actions require a connection.

Question 12

Which features require an account?

Accepted Answer

You can use many personal features without signing in. Account-based community features and cloud-related account services require sign-in. Cloud sync and expanded premium functionality may require Mountain Pro or eligible promotional access. Not all data is cloud-backed by default.

Question 13

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

In Motivate Mountain, open Settings, go to Account, choose Delete Account, and confirm. Export any backup you want to keep first. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription — manage that separately in your Apple Account settings.

Question 14

How do I contact support?

Accepted Answer

Use the contact form on this website. For subscription cancellation or refund requests, use Apple’s official subscription and purchase support links instead of the app developer.
